Battle for Azeroth Enchanting Guide

Hey guys, welcome to our new WoW Enchanting guide where you will get full information about updates made for patch 8.1, how to upgrade your character, where to look for artifacts and weapons, how to become skilled enchanter and what materials to use to craft the best tools ever.

BfA Patch 8.1 Changes

Let’s start right from the changes Blizzard made in BfA Enchanting:

  • from now enchanting skills are divided into 2 categories: hai (Alliance) and hai (Horde);
  • to start learning find BfA Enchanting trainer and pay 50 gold for basic knowledge;
  • changes in recipes – the ranks are made only for rare recipes: hai, hai, hai, hai, hai, hai, hai, hai;
  • Rank 1 demands basic knowledge you get from the trainer;
  • Rank 2 requires basic knowledge plus some additional skills for more special recipes;
  • the same is for Rank 3;
  • the most significant changes are in material: the way of crafting materials from existing reagents is different now.

New Materials

Two new materials have been added for professions:

  1. hai: Obtained from bosses when running Heroic and Mythic level dungeons in BfA and used for crafting new epic 385 item level profession gear.
  2. hai: Obtained from bosses in the new raid Battle for Dazar’alor and used for crafting new epic 400 and 415 item level profession gear.

Learning Enchanting

BfA Enchanting guide must be started from the primary information where to learn the science of enchanting and who can teach you. Since this profession has a different scenario for both factions, look up for the trainer attached for your faction exactly.

Enchanting trainer BfA is patiently waiting for students in Dazar’alor for Alliance and her name is Enchantress Quinni or in Boralus for Horde named Emily Fairweather. They will also teach how to make money with Enchanting BfA.

Do not waste your time for search, simply ask the city guard what direction to go. Trainers will give basic knowledge for recipes of Rank 1. This is a point to start with.

Leveling Enchanting

Right after you get basic course of enchanting you definitely wish to level up the character as soon as possible to get the best rewards. Use our BfA Enchanting leveling guide to climb this ladder of levels quickly. The rule is only one: the more enchantments you craft the higher level you will get.

Leveling Enchanting BfA starts at level 1. We’ve made a short table on how to behave to reach the next one in the shortest terms.

Level 1-35

Make gloves enchantments as much as possible as they have 5x of hai which is the cheapest.

Level 35-85

Сraft Seal ring enchantments which are of Rank 2 until you reach level 40 with yellow icon and green at 57. At level 75 start crafting Navigation weapon and go on until you are at 85 level.

Level 85-120

At 95 get a chance to gain recipes of Rank 2 which are weapon enchants of lower cost. Then work at them before you reach level 120.

Level 120-150

It’s the most difficult in BfA Enchanting leveling when you need to reach level 125 by crafting weapon enchants with help of RNG or Pact ring enchants of Rank 2. Once you gain skill of 125 level you are free to gain Navigation weapon enchants Rank 2 and craft them up till 150.

Enchanting Perks

All Enchanters know special enchants of which they craft so-called follower gear which is called Disenchanting Rod: its main role is to bring enchanting dust from each successful campaign. Follow this Enchanting guide BfA to master them. The important wrist enchants (each demands skill 10) are:

  • hai: gives 5  min cooldown to your hearthstone.
  • hai: adds speed to casting by hearthstone.
  • hai: with hearthstone you get a shield that works when you cast.

Bear in mind the Auction House where you can buy that gear or sell it.

Glove Enchantments

Gloves in WoW BfA Enchanting are in need to increase the speed of crafting and collecting important for other professions in the game. Each is different for faction so add Zandalari or Kul Tiran for each enchants and you will get the correct name.

  • Crafting – higher speed to craft basic tools.
  • Herbalism – gather herbs faster.
  • Mining – higher speed of mining.
  • Skinning – higher speed of skinning.
  • Surveying – higher speed of Surveying (Archeology).

    I dont understand BFA enchanting how earn gold. I began magical things to place on AH and each BFA ring was under two gold.

    Now I dont even know if I should delete enchanting and make him herb or mining farmer.
    I put so much time and effort into learning almost every enchanting recipe in the game. deleting it with out having a back up like Legion does is not making this decision easy.
